While full spectrum CBD has ultimately proven to be more effective than CBD Isolate and can be used to effectively treat a wide variety of ailments, it does not discredit the effectiveness of CBD Isolate. There are a wide variety of situations when CBD isolate would be preferred over Full Spectrum CBD. For example, you may not necessarily need the full capabilities of Full Spectrum CBD, or if you aren’t legally allowed to use THC. It is also important to note that other cannabinoids may cause negative reactions when isolated CBD wouldn’t (if the condition you are suffering from is critical, we definitely advise you speak to a medical consultant before trying out any version of CBD).
Ordered this for my restless legs and it’s phenomenal, I have dropped the dosage down to about 6-7 drops a day (so about 15mg) and I have noticed a dramatic improvement in my sleep. THC is the plant compound that makes a person feel ‘high’.  It is naturally found in much higher quantities in marijuana, and in virtually non-existent quantities in hemp. So, when taking a full spectrum cannabinoid extract from hemp, the THC level is so low that you do not feel ‘high’ or groggy.  But, when taking CBD extracted from marijuana, even the “low CBD” strains typically have enough THC to cause someone to feel slightly ‘high’ or at least sleepy or groggy.  And, if its NOT a low CBD strain of marijuana, then watch out, you will most likely experience a pretty significant ‘high’.
So, the next question is typically:  DO I NEED ALL THESE OTHER CANNABINOIDS TO HELP MY CANCER (or epilepsy, diabetes, etc)?  The answer is “maybe”.  Some people find great results from cannabidiol or CBD alone.  But, more people typically report better results when taking a full spectrum of cannabinoids (sometimes this includes THC, but often times, not).  So, if you’re new to CBD and not sure what direction to go, these reports from people would generally indicate its best to try a full spectrum blend to give you the greatest chance of success.  While having an extract that includes specifically the cannabinoid THC could also increase your chance for success, you have to ask yourself if you want to be ‘high’ all day when taking CBD.  And, you have to consider whether CBD extracted from marijuana is legal where you are.  Because of these two questions, CBD as part of a full spectrum of cannabinoid extracted from hemp, is often times the desired choice.
But there’s a big difference between the two. Hemp seed oil has been pressed from hemp seed, and it’s great for a lot of things – it’s good for you, tastes great, and can be used in soap, paint – even as biodiesel fuel. However, hemp seed oil does not contain any concentration of cannabinoids at all, including CBD. So by all means, stock up at your local natural food store. Just don’t expect to reap the benefits of a true CBD oil when you cook with hemp seed oil.

This is my experience with taking CBD 3000mg for the last 6 months. Received my first order about a month ago. Wanted to try it before giving feedback. I would frequently wake up at night with my hands just throbbing. I ordered the high potency tropical isolate. I have been taking a total of 60mg a day split into two doses. It has greatly reduced the pain in my hands, no longer waking up at night from the pain. I have also noticed it has a calming effect. Finally, in general, we almost always recommend full spectrum tinctures over supplements made from isolates (extracts of CBD alone). Full-spectrum or whole plant tinctures take advantage of the ‘entourage effect’ that comes from combining all the naturally occurring chemicals found in the hemp plant. Isolates are great for cooking with CBD or consumers that are especially sensitive to the taste of hemp extract, but some research suggests they may be less effective for certain uses than full spectrum extracts. All but two of the brands below are made from full spectrum hemp, and the exceptions are clearly noted.

When comparing the data of the two groups, the results proved that the group administered with full spectrum CBD were provided with higher levels of relief. Furthermore, the study demonstrated that full spectrum CBD continued to provide relief as the dose increased, while CBD Isolate did not provide the same effect when there was an increase in dosage.
